プログラム内容/PROGRAM DESCRIPTION：
本プログラムは「高等教育における国際交流」と題して、主に大学等で行われている国際的な交流活動について具体的な事例を紹介し、今後のより活発な活動への参考とすることを目的としています。まずはロビン坂本氏より大学での国際的コラボレーションの現状について解説していただき、後半では参加者の方々に実際に行っている活動を紹介していただきます。

皆様の大学等で行っている国際交流活動（交換留学等の交流ではなく、国内外での学生や教職員、地元の人々との交流活動を想定しています。例．留学生と日本人学生のサークル活動、地域の小学校での文化理解活動、海外でのボランティア活動やスタディーツアーなど）がありましたら、ぜひ持ち寄っていただきご紹介ください。また、「交流活動を検討しているが、どのようにしたら良いかわからない」という方々にも参加していただき、活発なディスカッションを行いたいと考えています。

本プログラムに関してのご意見やご質問はまでお願いします。

This program will introduce various international development activities in higher education institutions around the world. The beginning of the program will explain the historical background of this movement and provide specific examples of activities currently being conducted in Japan. The latter part of the program will encourage participants to share personal experiences with international development activities at their own institutions. (Please note that the topic will focus on development activities which are separate from international exchange programs though they involve students, staff, faculty as well as members of the community.) It is hoped that participants considering university partnerships will gain valuable knowledge from both the presenter as well as active discussion throughout the program. • ミネソタ大学・オデッサ州立経済大学（ウクライナ）ミネソタ大学・マケレレ大学（ウガンダ）・鳴門教育大学
• 国際教育協力日本フォーラム　主催：文部科学省,　外務省,　広島大学 国際連合大学 英語報告書担当
• Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) 日本で現在行われている先進国と発展途上国間での大学間パートナーシップを紹介し，その効果について発表するとともに，パートナーシップ促進を訴えた。

発行予定：
Routledge　International Studies In Higher Education Series、Cross-border Partnerships in Higher Education: Strategies and Issues. 共著者：D.W. Chapman　先進国と発展途上国における教育機関が，現在結んでいる研究や農業，医療などにおけるパートナーシップを，中国・ネパール・南アフリカ共和国などでのプロジェクトを含む1２例を取り上げて考察し，今後どのような連携が求められているのか，そのモデルについて検討した。

Upcoming Publications:
Routledge International Studies in Higher Education Series, Cross-border Partnerships in Higher Education: Strategies and Issues. Co-edited with D. W. Chapman. This 12 chapter volume looks at various university partnership programs including China, Nepal, South Africa, as well as Japan and presents a model for successful project development.

場所案内/How to get there?:
麗澤大学東京研究センター(新宿アイランド．タワー4階／新宿区西新宿 6-6-1)。アイランドタワーは、丸の内線西新宿駅と直接つながっています。JR新宿駅からは、徒歩10分です。低層階行のエレベーターに乗り、4階で降りて廊下を右へ進んでください。左側一番奥のドアが、麗澤大学東京研究センターの入り口です。

i-Land Tower can be accessed directly from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Marunouchi Line by following the underground path. From JR Shinjuku Station it is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you get to the building, select an elevator that stops on the 4th floor. After you get off on the 4th floor, walk to the right until you get to the last door on your left.
