プログラム内容/PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The influence of culture on decision making has a profound impact on every
organization, whether educational or corporate. To consider this impact, Janet
and Milton Bennett will show a new video entitled "The Intercultural
Conference Room, created by Jaime Wurzel, the well-known developer of "The
Intercultural Classroom" video. In powerfully contrasting segments, the
tape vividly portrays decision making in Japanese, Argentinean and U.S. American
groups, who each struggle with an identical task in profoundly different styles.
The culturally different approaches to the problem and its solution will be
discussed, including the striking final segment which illustrates joint decision
making among Japanese and Americans.
講師/PRESENTER
Drs. Janet and Milton Bennett are co-directors of the Intercultural Communication
Institute, which sponsors the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication.
They design and conduct intercultural courses and training sessions for undergraduate
and graduate degree programs, international educational exchange, social services,
and corporations.

麗澤大学東京研究センター(新宿アイランド･タワー4階／新宿区西新宿 6-6-1)。アイランドタワーは、丸の内線西新宿駅と直接つながっています。JR新宿駅からは、徒歩10分です。低層階行のエレベーターに乗り、4階で降りて廊下を右へ進んでください。左側一番奥のドアが、麗澤大学東京研究センターの入り口です。
